Indonesian businessman Erick Thohir is to buy a controlling interest in Italian football giants Inter Milan, president Massimo Moratti (pictured) has confirmed.
Details of the agreement have yet to be confirmed but Moratti said in an interview on the club’s website that an announcement will follow shortly.
“It has all been signed, in a few hours there will be a press release,” he said. “This has taken a long time, but eventually we have got there, everything seems to be in balance.”
Thohir, a part owner of Major League Soccer club DC United and NBA team the Philadelphia 76ers, has been in talks over acquiring a 70 percent stake.
