Yesterday, Chinese Smartphone maker Xiaomi announced that it will release its flagship Mi3 device in Malaysia today, via their mi.com/my website.
The unlocked 16GB version of the device retails for RM889 (approximately $277), and will ship with a brand new Malaysia-themed skin for its MIUI firmware. Singapore also got their own MIUI skin when the Redmi device was launched earlier this year.
The company added that the Redmi 1S, the upgraded version of its low-mid entry level Smartphone, will make its way to Malaysia in a month’s time, with a further hope to reach the markets in India, Russia, Turkey, Mexico and Brazil by the end of the year.
