Build Myanmar 2016 Supports Infrastructure Development

The fast expansion of the country’s infrastructure development has led to the introduction of Build Myanmar 2016 – the event supporting various aspects of infrastructure development, facilities, building and construction in Myanmar.

Valued at close to US$5,000,000,000 in total, the top 10 development projects in Myanmar alone showcase the potential of its infrastructure development landscape and the market’s capacity for more development projects. International and regional companies have shown keen interest to invest in Myanmar’s development – importing skills, latest products, and solutions for the rapid commercialisation in Myanmar.

International and regional development organisations such as the ODA (Official Development Assistance) Japan, ADB (Asian Development Bank) have also continuously supported Myanmar with financial and advisory assistance. With new investment laws and new development initiatives and projects, the country is primed to be one of the dynamic markets in the region.

Build Myanmar 2016, the event supporting this development, will be held from 10 – 12 November 2016 at the Rose Garden Hotel, in Yangon, Myanmar. The event provides opportunities for the industry to network, gain knowledge and exchange information for the growth of the developing infrastructure, building and construction industries in Myanmar.

The event will showcase products, solutions, and educational seminars for all aspects of development – from concrete technology, heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, refrigeration, pipes, pumps, valves, compressors, solar panels, loud speaker systems & LED lighting, electrical needs, to safety equipment and environmental control, and more.

Visitors can look forward to networking and creating new business opportunities with a largely foreign exhibitor group, with top products from the region. Countries include: Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, India, Korea, and Myanmar.

One of the key features for the event is the business matching programme assisting buyers and sellers to meet, exchange information and network. In addition, there will be three special networking receptions to meet invited guests. Participants are encouraged to sign up for the business matching programme which is free of charge on a first come first served basis, where they will be matched with the companies that have the solutions to their needs. As a business matching participant, attendees will also gain access to all networking sessions, refreshments throughout the event, as well as be able to take part in a lucky draw with fantastic prizes.
